Redox-flow batteries
During recent cooperation with Czech industry, we modeled processes in vanadium-redox flow batteries and its various parts. Our process model of the battery cell elucidated the relationship between operation conditions, power output and capacity. CFD modelling revealed possible upgrades to the current setup and critical measures for scaleup both inside the cell as well as in the storage tanks.
